First Responders Honored by Local Senior Living Community
Moldaw Residences hosts event for senior living community to give back to local police, firefighters and emergency personnel.
This week, Moldaw Residences hosted its inaugural First Responders Appreciation Lunch to honor local law enforcement, firefighters and other emergency personnel in Palo Alto and Mountain View.
“It really can be a thankless job, but most of us understand the huge responsibility and risks these men and women take to ensure our personal wellbeing and the safety of our greater community,” said Alexander Ben-Israel, executive director of the senior living community. “This luncheon was just a small gesture to let them know we recognize their efforts and greatly appreciate the services they provide day in and day out.”
To accommodate the often unpredictable schedules of first responders, Moldaw prepared a sandwich buffet so personnel could mingle with residents and team members or grab and go if needed. Moldaw’s executive chef also crafted homemade potato chips and a batch of chili.

“Moldaw is committed to being good neighbors and giving back to people and organizations that help make this such a great place to live,” added Ben-Israel.
