Los Altos Woman Killed in Mountain View Crash ID'd as Michelle Montalvo
Montalvo was hit early Thursday morning near El Monte Avenue and Marich Way
A woman struck and killed by a car early Thursday morning in Mountain View was identified Friday as 54-year-old Michelle Montalvo of Los Altos, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.
A SUV had hit Montalvo around 6:40 a.m. near El Monte Avenue and Marich Way, roughly two blocks south of El Camino Real, police said.
She was transported to a hospital for major injuries and died later in the day, according to police.

The driver was cooperative with investigators, police said. Alcohol or drugs is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
The roadway was closed until about 2 p.m. to investigate the accident.
