Mark Your Calendar For 'Sandbag Day' In Palo Alto
Load up with sandbags for free before winter storms strike! An ounce of prevention ...

PALO ALTO, CA – Palo Alto residents can come to "Sandbag Day" Saturday, Dec. 17 and pick up free sandbags to help prepare for this winter's storms.
The City of Palo Alto is hosting the event from 9 a.m. to noon (or until supplies last) at the Municipal Service Center at 3201 East Bayshore Road.
Volunteers and city staff will help you load free, filled sandbags into your vehicle. This event is open only to Palo Alto residents, so please bring identification with you.

"PLEASE don't procrastinate stocking up on sandbags to protect your home from potential flooding this winter!" the Palo Alto Police Department said today. "This is a great opportunity for you to cross something off your to-do list early, before the craziness of the holiday season takes over."
