Missing Person Alert: Police Seek Woman Gone From Her Palo Alto Home

The Palo Alto Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a woman in her 60s with Alzheimer’s disease, who walked away from her family’s home in the 800 block of Guinda Street this afternoon at 2:30 p.m.

Joanne Scott is 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs 135 pounds. She is wearing a blue-green knit hat, brown jacket and dark blue sweatpants with stripes on the side.

Police ask that if you see her, please call the PAPD’s 24-hour dispatch center immediately at 650-329-2413 and keep her under observation, if possible, until an officer arrives.
