We miss you too and look forward to welcoming you back to most Palo Alto playgrounds this week.

The City’s park playgrounds have been closed since the Public Health Order/Shelter-In-Place began. After review of recent County and State Orders, most playgrounds will reopen in a phased approach between October 5 and October 9. Each location is currently undergoing cleaning, proper safety checks, and new signage is being installed. As each location is cleaned and signage is posted, most playgrounds will open in a phased approach between October 5 and October 9.

Due to very high levels of visitation and space limitations, Magical Bridge Playground will continue to remain closed at this time. Staff will monitor best practices to find a safe and responsible way to open the Magical Bridge Playground.
