Obama Lands In Bay Area, Will Attend Cybersecurity Conference At Stanford
The president will stay overnight in SF, then visit Palo Alto on Friday for the conference and a business roundtable.

President Barack Obama has arrived in the Bay Area this evening for a trip that will include a speech at a cybersecurity summit at Stanford University and a Democratic fundraiser Friday.
The president arrived in Air Force One, which touched down around 5:15 p.m. at San Francisco International Airport.
Obama will stay overnight in San Francisco, then visit Palo Alto on Friday morning to deliver remarks at 11:20 a.m. at the Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection at Stanford University.

Later on Friday at 12:20 p.m., the president will host a roundtable at Stanford with local business leaders.
In addition to a keynote address by Obama, the daylong, invitation-only event will feature senior business, government and academic officials. The CEOs of Apple, American Express, Pacific Gas and Electric, Kaiser Permanente, MasterCard and AIG are among the speakers, which also include officials from the National Security Council, the National Economic Council.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker are also slated to address the Summit.
Hundreds of tickets were made available to Stanford students through a lottery, which is now closed.
More than 200 representatives of national, international and local broadcast, print and social media are expected to attend.
Those on campus unable to attend and the public can view the event via the webcast.
At 4:40 p.m., Obama will then attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at a private residence in San Francisco. Obama is then leaving from SFO on Saturday and flying to Palm Springs in Southern California.
The president last visited the Bay Area in October on a fundraising trip.
