One Burglary Suspect, Or Two? Police Release Photos From Palo Alto Home Break-In
BREAKING: Computers jewelry and other property were stolen during the Monday morning burglary on Roosevelt Circle, PAPD said.
PALO ALTO, CA – The Palo Alto Police Department today released three still images of suspects taken from surveillance video at a home reportedly burglarized Monday morning in Palo Alto.
Police are hoping the public can aid with identification of possibly two men involved -- but detectives are also investigating the possibility that there is only one suspect, who discarded his outer clothing to change his appearance between the two visits to the home on Roosevelt Circle.
Police were called to the house Monday at 3:54 p.m. for the burglary that residents said occurred earlier in the day while they were out.

The homeowners' surveillance system showed two suspects were possibly involved, and that the burglary had occurred at about 9 a.m., police said. One male suspect rode a bicycle down the driveway and left it in the backyard before walking away on foot, police said. A short time later, the second suspect walked up and entered the home through an unlocked door in the backyard.
Stolen were stole three laptop computers, jewelry, and miscellaneous personal property. The suspect rode off on a black mountain bike with white lettering, a suspension fork, disc brakes and red handlebars, police said.
