Palo Alto Business Registry & Business Assessment Period Underway

It is time for businesses to register for the Business Registry and for businesses in the Downtown Business Improvement District to pay the yearly assessment fee. Letters to businesses went out the week of March 2.

For the Business Registry, businesses will be asked to fill out an application with a $54 fee by March 31 to receive their new Business Registry Certificate.

For those in the Downtown Business Improvement District, the yearly assessment fee varies between $50 and $500 depending on the number of employees, location within the district, and type of business. This payment for the BID is due April 13.
