Palo Alto, Campbell School Measures Appear To Pass
That is according to the unofficial results from Tuesday's election with the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters.

Parcel tax measures in the Palo Alto Unified and Campbell Union school districts appear to have been approved in vote-by-mail elections Tuesday, according to unofficial results released by the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters.
Measure A, a proposal to renew the Palo Alto Unified School District’s parcel tax for six years while increasing it by $120 to $758 per year, was approved by about 77.5 percent of voters, according to the unofficial results.
Measure B, which sought to create a new $49 parcel tax for eight years in the Campbell Union School District, had the approval of about 67.1 percent of voters, according to the unofficial results.

Both measures needed two-thirds, or 66.7 percent, approval to pass. Updates to the results will be posted by 5 p.m. today, according to county election officials.
When polls closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday, there were 26,428 returned mail ballots out of 85,914 issued. However, other ballots will be counted if they were postmarked by Election Day and arrive at the Registrar of Voters’ office by Friday, election officials said.
