Palo Alto Community Cooling Center Available On August 14

In anticipation of a heat advisory through much of the Bay Area, tomorrow, August 14, our community cooling center at the Mitchell Park Community Center El Palo Alto Room will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Community Cooling Centers page includes guidance on how to stay healthy during high-temperature weather and guidance from the CDC on using cooling centers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please take extra care tomorrow and this weekend and share this information with those at risk. Visit the County’s Hot Weather Safety page for information on other cooling centers throughout Santa Clara County tomorrow and through the weekend.
