Palo Alto Liquor Store’s License Revoked
Ernie's Liquors sold alcohol to 10 different minors including a 15-year-old from September of 2019 through September 2020, authorities said.

PALO ALTO, CA — A Palo Alto liquor store’s license was revoked indefinitely earlier this week by a state enforcement agency that alleges it repeatedly sold alcohol to minors.
The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) suspended Ernie’s Liquors’ license on Tuesday, the agency said in a statement.
The Palo Alto liquor store at 3870 El Camino Real was issued a revocation for six months to allow for an ABC-approved ownership transfer, the agency said.
