• Victim identified in East Palo Alto fatal assault (paloaltoonline.com) — A Menlo Park man has died after an assault in East Palo Alto on September 3, marking the city's first reported homicide in more than two years. Police quickly arrested an East Palo Alto resident on manslaughter and assault charges, and local authorities are offering condolences while the investigation continues.
