Santa Clara County Coroner IDs Pedestrian Killed By Car
BREAKING: The 69-year-old woman was a South Bay resident.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- A woman who was killed when a vehicle hit her in Sunnyvale on Dec. 30 has been identified as 69-year-old Maria Barahona Lopez, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
Lopez, a Sunnyvale resident, was pronounced dead at the scene on eastbound El Camino Real east of Sunnyvale Saratoga Road, Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety Capt. Shawn Ahearn said.
The crash was reported at about 6:10 p.m. The driver cooperated with investigators, Ahearn said. Drugs and alcohol did not appear to have been factors.
