Sexual Assault Reported On Stanford Campus
Breaking: The female victim was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance, according to Stanford public safety officials.

PALO ALTO, CA -- A sexual assault was reported late Thursday night on the campus of Stanford University, the university's department of public safety said Friday. The female victim was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male acquaintance at about 11:30 p.m. on the west side of the campus, according to public safety officials.
The victim described the suspect as a 22- to 25-year-old white man of average height and a thin build, who has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police and university officials are investigating the assault; anyone with more information about the investigation is asked to call the Stanford University Department of Public Safety at 650-329-2413.

In a separate incident earlier this month, a woman reported being raped by a male acquaintance in student housing on the west side of campus.
