Shooting Shuts Down Palo Alto Street
One lane of San Antonio Road remained closed Tuesday morning as police investigated a shooting that left one man injured.
PALO ALTO, CA — A shooting in Palo Alto early Tuesday left one man injured and shut down San Antonio Road for several hours as detectives collected evidence, the Palo Alto Police Department said.
By 7:18 a.m., one eastbound lane had reopened while the other remained closed.
The victim, an adult male, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was in intensive care, police said. No suspects have been arrested.

The shooting was reported around 3 a.m. in the parking lot of a business on the 700 block of San Antonio Road, police said.
One eastbound lane of San Antonio Road is back open as of 7:18 a.m. The other eastbound lane remains closed as detectives collect evidence. The victim suffered one gunshot wound to the abdomen and is in intensive care.
