Shoreline Lake to Host Awesome 'REI Village Tour' on Saturday in Mountain View
It is a stand- up paddleboarding and bicycling event, free and open to the public from South Bay, Peninsula and Silicon Valley.

REI Village mobile tour will be making a special stopover at the Aquatic Center at Mountain View’s Shoreline Lake, Saturday, October 4th, from 11am-5pm -- for a free stand up paddleboarding and bicycling event, open to the public.
A “local extension” of the popular REI Village road trip, Shoreline Lake was chosen as one of the non-store locations in the Bay Area for this leg, due to its popularity with Silicon Valley outdoor sports enthusiasts, and the Aquatic Center’s extensive range of water- and land-based activities and offerings.
Both REI members and non-members will have the opportunity to engage in demo, instructional and tech activities with REI experts: These will include personalized stand up paddleboarding classes from 11am-12:30pm (limited to groups of 5), as well as bicycle tune ups, cleaning and tips.
Besides getting on the water, and the gear and educational aspect, event attendees can also take part in the REI Village lounge experience adjacent to the activities area.
