Stanford Thetas Raise $37K To Help Foster Children In Santa Clara County
Funds will be used to recruit, train and support court advocates in the community.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – Child Advocates of Silicon Valley recently received a whopping $37,000 donation from Stanford University's Kappa Alpha Theta
Raised for Child Advocates during its annual Theta Breakers Run for the Children race in October, the proceeds came from the group hosting hundreds of people who participated in the 5K run/walk and 10K run around Stanford campus.
For the past 31 years, the Stanford Kappa Alpha Thetas have supported Child Advocates to impact the lives of foster children, the agency said. Proceeds from the race will be used to recruit, train and support Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) to work one-on-one with foster children in Santa Clara County.
