The Montgomery BART station was closed for most of the morning because of power outages, Pier 39 and all its businesses was closed, and the Federal Building closed early.

And in Monterey County, fallen trees in Del Monte Forest near Pebble Beach today are preventing PG&E from restoring power outages in the area, Cal Fire officials said.

Numerous trees have fallen, creating a hazard for visitors and PG&E repair crews.

Residents of the area without power will not have it restored until Friday, according to Cal Fire.

Traffic into and out of the area, including Pebble Beach, has been limited to “residents and necessary traffic only,” Cal Fire officials said in a statement.

There is a high wind advisory in the area expected to last until tonight.
