Thursday Afternoon In Palo Alto: Celebrate California Avenue

Have you seen the new California Streetscape improvements?

From the city of Palo Alto:

Please join local merchants, business representatives and city officials at the Plaza on the newly enhanced California Avenue streetscape to celebrate the completion of the project. We will thank the businesses and surrounding community, listen to some music and officially “launch” the new fountain on the Plaza.

The California Streetscape improvement project features a pedestrian and bike friendly walkway, with new lighting, landscaping and street paving. The Plaza area also features a new public art fountain, Confluence, by artist Mike Szabo that aligns with the new California Avenue design.
