How to Travel Lightly, from the Experts

A Stanford Shopping Center business is planning a workshop to help prepare you for your next trip.

I remember vividly the first time that I saw a cardboard box secured with duct tape drop down onto a luggage carousel at the airport. My jaw dropped right along with that box. It soon became apparent that the former container for multiple jugs of Clorox Bleach was just the first in a set of matched luggage for one of my fellow travelers.

He cheerfully gathered his boxes, plunked them onto an airport luggage cart, and off he went.

If you're a bit more discerning, you may want to attend a Travel Seminar and Packing Workshop this Saturday at Edward's Luggage at Stanford Shopping Center.
