2 Teens Arrested For Allegedly Trying To Steal Cell Phone
The victim was pushed to the ground by one of the suspects at a South Bay Starbucks.

PALOS VERDES, CA – Two young men were in custody Monday for allegedly trying to steal a woman's cell phone at a South Bay Starbucks.
The crime occurred about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Artesia Boulevard in Torrance, according to Torrance police.
Joshua Hart and Jason Jones, both 18 and from Carson, were booked on suspicion of attempted robbery, with bail set at $60,000 for Hart and $50,000 for Jones, his alleged accomplice.

The victim, a 21-year-old woman who was visiting from Germany, was pushed to the ground by one of the suspects, who fled without the phone, police said.
"A witness observed the suspect enter the passenger side of a vehicle ... (and) followed the vehicle a short distance," according to police.

The witness notified police, and officers began looking for the suspects and the vehicle, which was found parked in front of another Starbucks at 1759 Artesia Blvd. in Gardena, where they were taken into custody.
