Black Lab Hit by Car Near Lanes

Tonight around 9:30 PM, a black Lab was found near the median on PVDN (between Dapplegray and Strawberry) after it was hit by a car. Good Samaritans took the dog to the emergency vet where she died.
The dog was a female black Lab around 5 years old. She was wearing a choke chain without any ID. The dog was not microchipped.
The vet will hold the dog for 2 to 3 days to allow for identification. The owner should call Advanced Veterinary Care Center and ask for Dr. Ramirez. The phone is 310-542-8018. The address is 15926 Hawthorne Blvd. Lawndale.
