Dora the Explorer Live! Dora's Pirate Adventure

Ahoy!  The beloved Nickelodeon cartoon character Dora the Explorer comes to life in the magical, musical stage show “ Dora’s Pirate Adventure” for three fun-packed performances at the Norris Theatre.  In this interactive show,  Dora sets sail for Treasure Island with her best buddy, Boots the Monkey, her cousin Diego and all the rest of her friends. With help from the audience, they navigate over Dancing Mountain and through Silly Singing Bridge to confront the notorious Pirate Piggies before finding the treasure. All ends happily onstage with a “yo-ho-ho!”  



Dora the Explorer is a seven year-old Latina heroine whose adventures take place in an imaginative, tropical world filled with jungles, beaches and rainforests. The animated series premiered in 2000 and has been ranked as the number one preschool show on commercial television for 13 years. More than 100 million people watch every year, and the program has been
honored with every award possible, including the Peabody, Parent’s Choice Award and 16 Daytime Emmy awards.


Show times are June 29 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and June 30 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for children ages 12 and under and $25 for adults. Discounted group sales tickets are available.
