Earthquake Rattles SoCal Coastline Overnight

An earthquake struck Sunday night, 4.3 miles south-southwest of Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES — Did you feel it? A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck the South Bay Sunday night, roughly 14 miles south-southwest of Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor occurred about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the Pacific Ocean, 14.3 miles south-southwest of Rancho Palos Verdes, the USGS said. It was recorded at a depth of about 6.8 miles.

As of Monday morning, no injuries or property damage have been reported, according to the USGS.
