Chili Cook-Off
Do you make the meanest chili on the Peninsula?
Whether it's meat-lovers or vegetarian, spicy or mild, with beans or without, we want it at the first ever PV Street Fair Community Plaza Chili Cook-Off!
**Want to be a competitor?**
10 chili masters will vie to win the title of the Best Chili on the PV Peninsula!
All competitors must register on-line in advance of the competition. There will be NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION ALLOWED.
There will be a maximum of 10 competitors for this event. Both amateur and professional chefs are welcome to participate. Contestants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
“Anything goes” as far as ingredients. With or without beans, with or without meat, etc. Just bring on your signature chili!
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE competition fee of $50 per entry.
Before registration, all competitors MUST familiarize themselves with the rules as well as educate themselves as to safe and sanitary cooking and handling of food.

Event Schedule
9:00-10:00am Competitors drop off supplies near Big Tent, park at Peninsula High School and take shuttle to the event, receive their space assignment and entry kit, set up grilling station
10:00am Competition begins
2:00pm Cooking ends; judging begins
2:30-3:00pm Competitors clean up and pack up
3:00pm Winner announced; trophy presented
By registering to compete in this event, contestants agree to have any photos or videos taken of them at the event to be used for promotional purposes.
