Cine-Monde

Rolling Hills Estates, CA –Join us for PVLD’s Ciné-Monde, a film series featuring notable films from around the globe, independent American cinema and documentaries. Our next film showing will be at 5:30pm, Thursday, June 14 in the Peninsula Center Library Community Room. This event is free and open to the public. Following the film, there may be a brief discussion facilitated by the coordinator of the series.

About the film: Award winning and critically acclaimed documentary from 2011 that takes a hard look at the changing nature of newspapers, journalism and the way Americans want their news. The documentary follows various members of the New York Times staff over the course of a year and produces an illuminating, thought-provoking look into this rarely seen world.

The film will be presented in English.
