Grilled Cheese Sandwich Cook-Off

10 grilled cheese masters will vie to win the title of the Best Grilled Cheese Sandwich on the PV Peninsula!
“Anything goes” as far as ingredients, so long as the base ingredients consist of bread; butter, margarine or oil; and cheese.
All competitors must register on-line in advance of the competition. There will be NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION ALLOWED.
There will be a maximum of 10 competitors for this event. Both amateur and professional chefs are welcome to participate. Contestants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE competition fee of $35 per entry.
Before registration, all competitors MUST familiarize themselves with the rules as well as educate themselves as to safe and sanitary cooking and handling of food. Please direct any questions regarding the rules to office@palosverdeschamber.com.

Event Schedule
11:30am-noon Competitors drop off supplies near Big Tent, park at Peninsula High School and take shuttle to the event
12:00-12:30pm Competitors receive their space assignment and entry kit, set up grilling station
12:30pm Competition begins
1:20pm Competition ends – Spatulas down!
1:20-1:45pm Competitors clean up and pack up
1:45pm Winner announced; trophy presented
