Join the magic as Dance Peninsula Ballet holds auditions for its 24th annual production of The Nutcracker. Children ages 5 and up and adults are welcome to audition. Auditions will be held at 9:00am for Children 5-7 for Gingersnaps, 10:00am for Boys ages 7 and up for Robotic Soldiers, 10:15am for Girls 7-10 years old for Mice, Soldiers and Clowns, 11:00-12:15am for Boys, Girls and Adults ages 10 and up for Angels and Party Scene ($10 class fee applies for ages 10 and up). Those chosen by audition are required to enroll in a ballet workshop. The workshop and performance fee is $225. They must also enroll in ballet classes with Peninsula School of Perforning Arts. One ballet class/week required for Gingersnaps, one dance class per week required for Robotic Soldiers, two ballet classes/week required for Mice, Soldiers and Clowns, and three classes/week required for Angels and Party Scene. Performances will be held on Saturday November 24th at 2pm and 7:30pm, November 25th at 1:00 and 5:00pm and on Friday November 30th at 7:30pm and Saturday Dec. 1 and 2:00 and 8:00pm.
