Helicopter Activity Expected Over The Peninsula

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Rancho Palos Verdes and other South Bay area residents can expect to hear or see helicopter activity over the Peninsula, city officials announced Monday.

"Please be advised that helicopter activity over the Peninsula is due to aerial inspections of power lines," according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station.

"The helicopters do not belong to police, fire or the military. There is no public emergency," city officials said.
