Man Survives Fall Off Point Fermin Cliffs In San Pedro
Officials are working to determine whether he jumped or slipped.

PALOS VERDES, CA – A 30-year-old man fell from a cliff at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro and was airlifted to a hospital Tuesday. The man was "conscious and alert seaside with various injuries" when firefighters used a helicopter to hoist him from the base of the bluffs around 5 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman Brian Humphrey told Daily Breeze.
The man's condition was unknown; officials are working to determine whether he jumped or slipped. Someone saw him go over the cliff and called 911 just before 5 p.m., officials told Daily Breeze.
