May 27 Award winning local TV journalist Liz Brown Swan- son will share with Peninsula Seniors what it takes to put a story together and go behind the scenes of her 30 year career as a reporter and anchor for net- work affiliates and cable channels around the country. Swanson broke into the news business in Boston and has covered hundreds of stories from the presi- dential primary in New Hampshire, pot busts in Eureka, CA, to peafowl controversies in Palos Verdes. She graduated from Emerson College in Boston in 1984 with a B.S. in Mass Communications.
