Over 1,800 Lose Power In Rancho Palos Verdes: SCE

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — A power outage in Rancho Palos Verdes affected 1,861 customers Tuesday morning, according to Southern California Edison.

The outage was reported at 11:07 a.m. Tuesday, according to SCE.

A field investigator was alerted of the outage and was en route to the area as of 11:50 a.m. The outage was reported in the area near San Pedro Hill and Mira Catalina Elementary School.

Power is expected to be restored to most customers by 12:07 p.m., officials said. It is unclear what caused the outage.
