Palos Verdes Brush Clearing Days Planned For Residents
There are four Saturdays left for the EDCO's fall brush clearing. Find out when yours is here.
PALOS VERDES, CA — The city of Rancho Palos Verdes is conducting brush clearing to help residents protect their homes during fire season. A total of five Saturdays were slated for the brush-clearing event.
"EDCO picks up excess green waste along a different trash route in RPV," the city said.

In order to make the most of your brush clearing, the city gave some suggestions.

"Please place your excess green waste in your designated green waste cart or, for this special event only, in additional old standard-size waste cans," a spokesperson wrote on the city's website. "Tied bundles will also be collected.
The city discourages the use of plastic bags as this contaminates the loads.

"No loose material will be collected," they said.
Please place your green waste at the curb for collection on your designated day (located below), no later than 7 a.m. This free event is for bulk/excess green waste only. No rocks, trash, or other bulky items will be picked up that day.
- If your regular collection day is Tuesday, your brush clearing day is Saturday, October 14, 2023.
- If your regular collection day is Wednesday, your brush clearing day is Saturday, October 21, 2023.
- If your regular collection day is Thursday, your brush clearing day is Saturday, October 28, 2023.
- If your regular collection day is Friday, your brush clearing day is Saturday, November 4, 2023.
