Palos Verdes Parks, Trails And Beaches Close For July 4 Weekend
Parks, trails and beaches will close for the July 4 holiday weekend, Rancho Palos Verdes city officials said.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Beaches and trails will close countywide for July 4, including beaches, public parks and trail locations in Rancho Palos Verdes, city officials announced Wednesday.
Coronavirus cases have spiked across the state, forcing officials to close beaches, bars, restaurants and theaters.
As of Wednesday, there are 52 reported cases in Palos Verdes Estates and 139 reported cases in Rancho Palos Verdes, according to county health officials. There has been one reported death in Palos Verdes Estates and 12 reported deaths in Rancho Palos Verdes.

These locations are closed from Friday to Sunday in Rancho Palos Verdes:
- Ocean Trails Reserve and Beach
- Founders Park
- Rancho Palos Verdes Beach
- Abalone Cove Park, Reserve and Beach
- Sacred Cove Beach
- Pelican Cove Beach
- All trails that access the beach
