• Bacteria Warnings Issued for Several LA County Beaches (iheart.com) — Portuguese Bend in Rancho Palos Verdes is under a bacteria warning, and swimmers are advised to stay out of the water there until further notice. Several other LA County beaches also show elevated bacteria levels, while Malibu's Paradise Cove has been cleared. Residents can check the county hotline or website for updated beach conditions before heading to the coast.
