The PVPUSD Board of Education voted to approve interdistrict permits for the students at its Feb. 27 meeting.
PALOS VERDES, CA – Students who have a grandparent living within the attendance boundaries of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District may now be able to attend PVPUSD schools, the district announced last week. The PVPUSD Board of Education voted to approve interdistrict permits for the students at its Feb. 27 meeting.
The district will begin accepting the interdistrict permit applications starting March 15, 2019. Applicants must first receive an interdistrict transfer release from their district of residence as part of the application process, the PVPUSD press release said.
“This is an incredible opportunity to honor and reconnect community members with our schools by serving their grandchildren," Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss said. "I am so pleased that our district will now be educating these students.”
