Rancho Palos Verdes Natives Make The Honor Rolls At Colleges Back East

Rancho PV natives have made the Dean's lists of universities in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island this school year.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA -- A number of Rancho PV natives have made the Dean's lists and honor rolls of universities across the country this school year, various schools report.

Ohio University, La Salle University in Philadelphia, and the University of Rhode Island are the institutions of higher learning that have reported students from Rancho Palos Verdes among those on their Dean's lists this semester.

  • Maheen Adamjee, an Ohio University student, has been named to the school's Provost List. The list recognizes part-time undergraduate students for academic excellence, requiring a minimum 3.5 semester GPA and between 6 and 11.99 credit hours attempted for letter grades.
  • Reenah Bastro, another Ohio University student, was also named to OU's Provost's List. The list is calculated at the end of each semester to honor high-achieving, part-time students.
  • Matthew Dragich, an Ohio University College of Business student, has been named to the university's Fall 2025 Dean's List, which recognizes undergraduate students who complete a particular semester with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.999.
  • Halah Lebsack, a La Salle University student who's a freshman undergrad majoring in Sport Management, was named to the Fall 2025 Dean's List. Students who complete at least 12 credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher are placed on the list. La Salle is a Catholic university in Philadelphia.
  • Nicholas Walter has been named to the University of Rhode Island's Fall 2025 Dean's List. To be included on the list, full-time and part-time students both must complete 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester, and achieve at least a 3.30 quality point average.
