Suspect In Custody After Reports Of Gunman At Kaiser Permanente
Los Angeles police responded to a report of a man with a gun at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City.

PALOS VERDES, CA – Los Angeles police took a suspect into custody Thursday after responding to reports of a man with a gun at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City.
"At this point, we have no evidence of a gun or a shooting," LAPD Harbor Division tweeted.
LAPD told KTLA that the incident want not an active shooter, and no shots were fired. A police team went to the center to search for the suspect, an LAPD spokesperson told Patch.

The facility was on lock down as a precaution, and Kaiser Permanente officials tweeted that those on campus should shelter in place.
The medical center is located at 25825 S Vermont Ave, Harbor City, CA 90710.

UPDATE: We have taken the suspect of the Man with a Gun radio call at Kaiser Permanente South Bay into custody. At this point, we have no evidence of a gun or a shooting.
