ACROSS CALIFORNIA — It's enough that Californians have to face wildfires every year, but now tropical storms have proven to be just as detrimental. Hilary, which is the first tropical storm to hit the golden state in 84 years, caused flooding and mudslides across Southern California.
California has already been hit the hardest with residents being swept up into swollen rivers to homes being obliterated by fallen trees.
