Trails And Beaches Remain Closed In Rancho Palos Verdes
Some trails are opening in LA County this weekend, but in Rancho Palos Verdes trails and parks remain closed.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Although some trails and golf courses are opening across Los Angeles County this weekend, beaches and trails remained closed in Rancho Palos Verdes, city officials announced Thursday.
Rancho Palos Verdes city officials are working on a reopening plan that keeps people safe and opens trails and beaches as soon as possible "in the days to come," the city said.
Rolling Hills Estates officials announced that George F Canyon and Chandler Preserve will reopen Saturday. People visiting the hiking trails are required to wear face coverings and stay six feet apart from others.

"Although some county trails will reopen on Saturday, May 9, please note that all trails in Rancho Palos Verdes, including the Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, are not managed by Los Angeles County and will not be ready for reopening on this date," the city announced Friday.
Several city parks are open at a limited capacity, according to the city, with turf and walking paths only and physical distancing required:
