Trump National Golf Club Chosen for Prestigious Tournament
This will be the first time the event will be played on the U.S. mainland since 1993.

The 33rd PGA Grand Slam of Golf, whose field consists of the winners of golf’s four major tournaments, will be played at the Trump National Golf Club -- Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes, Oct. 20-21, organizers announced today.

This will be the first time the event will be played on the U.S. mainland since 1993. It had been played in Bermuda each of the previous eight years, and the Poipu Bay Golf Course on the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the 13 years before that.
A pro-am will be played on the course on Oct. 19.

If a player wins more than one of golf’s major tournaments this year, or declines an invitation to play in the Grand Slam of Golf, he will be replaced by the former major winner with the best overall finishes in the year’s majors.
