PALOS VERDES, CA – The Trump Organization reportedly paid late taxes on two plots of land it owns in Rancho Palos Verdes after the Washington Post contacted the organization about the unpaid taxes.

The Trump Organization owed $36,200 in unpaid property taxes on land near its South Bay golf course, the Washington Post reported. The organization paid the unpaid taxes plus late fees Monday, according to the Hill.

The two plots of land were on the golf course owned by the Trump Organization. The land will be used to build and sell 23 new homes, the Hill reported. However, the taxes for the land was reportedly declared delinquent by Los Angeles County on December 10, according to the Daily Beast.

The Trump Organization reportedly didn't answer why the taxes had been left unpaid, but told the Washington Post Tuesday that it would be an “outright lie” to say the taxes were unpaid when they were now “paid in full.”

This is the second year in a row that the company failed to pay taxes on the land on time, incurring another $3,500 penalty last year for not paying on time, the Washington Post reported.
