• CA uses $369M in federal wildfire aid for low-income housing, not fire victims: report (komonews.com) — Federal wildfire recovery money meant to help Camp Fire victims rebuild has largely gone to low-income housing developers, with limited direct benefit to Paradise residents. Butte County officials say they had no say in funding decisions, and only a fraction of earmarked homeowner aid has been spent, leaving many survivors still struggling to replace homes lost in the 2018 fire.
