• Paradise Police, Butte County Inter-Agency Bomb Squad respond to suspicious package at Gold Nugget Museum (actionnewsnow.com) — Paradise police and the Butte County Inter-Agency Bomb Squad shut down parts of Pearson Road and Academy Drive Tuesday night after a suspicious package was found on the Gold Nugget Museum’s front porch. Investigators now believe it wasn’t an explosive, but say it was likely meant to intimidate museum board members following hostile social media comments. Anyone with information is urged to contact Paradise Police.
