American Consumer Credit Counseling Expands Presence and Financial Education Services to Los Angeles, California

Leading national consumer credit counseling non-profit to open additional office to better serve consumers in parts of California with the greatest need for financial assistance.  American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) announced today that the non-profit will expand its presence to California to address the needs of consumers who are greatly impacted with financial issues and difficulties. ACCC’s new office, located in Los Angeles, will have certified credit counselors available Monday through Friday available helping consumers address financial issues such as debt, credit, budgeting and financial education in order to secure a healthy financial future.

American Consumer Credit Counseling, a Newton, MA-based nonprofit, has assisted 38,380 California residents and 1,830 in the Los Angeles area.

“With the number of our clients growing in California, we will be able to better address the needs of consumers by providing them with credit counseling services right in their community,” stated Steve Trumble, president and CEO of American Credit Counseling.

At ACCC’s new locations, consumers will be able to take advantage of a variety of resources that will provide them with financial education and solutions such as a debt management plan, budget counseling, bankruptcy counseling, housing counseling as well as other financial resources.

“Expanding our presence to California allows us to further fulfill ACCC’s mission to develop a greater community of financially responsible individuals and families that will thrive for generations to come,” added Trumble. “The addition of ACCC’s offices increases the accessibility of our resources to consumers within their local community as well as online and by phone.”

The American Consumer Credit Counseling office in California will be located at 55 West Fifth Street, 31st Floor in Los Angeles. Certified Credit Counselors will be available Monday through Friday  by appointment only.
