LA Chamber of Commerce Executive David Eads to Run Pasadena Tournament of Roses
David Eads will replace CEO William B. Flinn, who is retiring after 36 years with the Tournament of Roses.
PASADENA, CA -- David Eads, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, has been tapped to lead the Pasadena Tournament of Roses after a nationwide search, the organization announced Thursday.
"We are confident that David, due to his many talents and attributes, coupled with outstanding leadership qualities, will be a tremendous asset to the Tournament of Roses organization and will be a great fit with our volunteer- driven, staff-supported Association," said Lance Tibet, a Tournament of Roses executive VP and head of the search committee.
Eads will officially assume his new post in February 2017. He replaces current CEO William B. Flinn, who is retiring after 36 years with the Tournament of Roses.

Eads is a graduate of Wichita State University who moved to Los Angeles in 2000.
The 128th Rose Parade, and the 103rd Rose Bowl game, will take place on Jan. 2, 2017.
