Police Search For Armed Suspects In Pasadena Neighborhood

Police were looking for three possibly armed burglary suspects who police on a chase before abandoned their truck in Pasadena.

PASADENA, CA — Authorities were searching for three possibly armed burglary suspects who led authorities on a chase from Buena Park to Pasadena where they abandoned the pickup truck.

The suspects were believed to have burglarized a Verizon store in Buena Park, where police chased them into Los Angeles County before the California Highway Patrol took over the chase.

CHP picked up the chase around 11:10 p.m. on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway near Soto Street in Boyle Heights, according to CHP Officer Tony Polizzi.

The chase ended in Pasadena where the driver let his two passengers out just before abandoning the truck and running into a parking structure in the area of Green Street and Colorado Boulevard.

The chase ended about a block from an Apple store where customers were lined up for the release of the iPhoneX, slated for Friday, according to reports from the scene.

Authorities were containing the area around 11:30 p.m. as they searched for the suspects.
