• 52-Year-Old Woman Arrested Following Crash That Killed Child On Ramona Expressway (patch.com) — An 8-year-old Perris girl has died and another child remains hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at Ramona Expressway and Rider Street, where six people were hurt. A 52-year-old San Jacinto woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-related vehicular manslaughter, and Perris traffic investigators are asking witnesses to contact them with any information.
   

• CHP seeks information on fatal hit-and-run on Highway 74 (menifee247.com) — A 40-year-old Perris woman, Carolina Melissa Davenport-Rios, has been identified as the victim in a suspected hit-and-run along Highway 74 in Homeland, and CHP is asking the public for tips. Investigators want to hear from anyone who drove that stretch between August 7 and 10 and may have seen something unusual or captured dashcam or security footage.
   

• Fundraising Campaign Started For Family Of RivCo Woman Killed On 215 Freeway (patch.com) — From Perris, officials are sharing details on a fatal I-215 rollover crash near Ramona Expressway that killed 24-year-old Valerie Martinez of Moreno Valley. Her brother has launched a GoFundMe to help cover funeral costs, while CHP investigators continue piecing together how the high-speed collision unfolded.
