$10,000 to be given away to a local non-profit. 5 finalists have been announced.

The “100 Sonoma County People Who Care” group has announced their finalists for the $10,000 prize that will go to a local non-profit.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday February 23rd from 6-8pm at the Petaluma Woman’s Club as a local non-profit group will walk away with $10,000 to support their cause. Petaluma’s very own Mike Harris will be the Master of Ceremonies for the event.

100 Sonoma is a funding circle organized for the purpose of bringing together community members to learn about and select one Sonoma County non-profit annually to receive a significant financial gift. One Hundred People Who Care, give $100 each for a total of $10,000 to the chosen non-profit. 100 Sonoma People Who Care is led by a small grass roots steering committee/board of directors. They are particularly interested in raising awareness of smaller non-profits and community service programs that are not necessarily well known but do important work and are in need of funding.
Their steering committee is comprised of Amy Yamamoto, Anthy O’Brien,Carolyn Pistone, Dan Ancheta, Gina Benedetti-Petnic, Jenna Forster, Karen Mendez Cividanes, Mariah Shields and Steve Leonard.
