3rd Annual "Car Show for a Cure" was a smashing success in support of the Alzheimer's Association
Adobe House's signature fundraiser of the year was an amazing success
The 3rd Annual "Car Show for a Cure" that was put on by Adobe House, a memory care community here in Petaluma, in support of the Alzheimer's Association was an amazing success. Hundreds of people showed up for the event and everybody had a great time. Everybody is looking forward to next year.
Following are the winners in each category from that day's activities.
Mark Dietlin w/ the 1965 Ford Mustang was the winner of the Fire Chief Award, named "Too Hot to Handle"

Tony Ferreira w/ a 1967 Dodge Cornet RP 2-door hard top was the winner of the Police Chief Award aptly named "Breakin' the Law". Tony is the original owner of this gem and originally bought it from Napa Valley Dodge.
Edward Lopez w/ a 1963 Impala was the winner of the Sonoma County Street Rodz Award.

David Metzger w/ a 1956 Ford was the winner of the Redwood Credit Union Award.
Thomas Karaniz w/ a 1951 Ford and Wayne & Jerry Formby w/ a 1933 Ford pickup were the winners of the 2 The Plaza North Awards. The Plaza North supplied the venue of the event too.
Gabriella Church w/ a 1957 Chevy Bel Air was the Adobe House, resident's choice award.

In addition, local Petaluman, Lisa Baddeley, was the winner of the 50/50 raffle. And Michael & Elena Scalese were the winners of the Mammoth Condo getaway package that was donated personally by Cynthia Ermshar and her family.
Everybody can't wait til' next year, to help support the Alzheimer's Association again.
Currently, more than 5 million American’s have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
