Adobe House, a memory care community in Petaluma, was the top fundraising team for the Alzheimer's Association

The Petaluma Walk to End Alzheimer’s occurred on Saturday Oct. 17th at Shollenberger Park in Petaluma.

It was a beautiful day with 155 teams participating representing over 1400 walkers for the cause.

Over $311,000 was raised by all of the teams combined. Adobe House, a memory care community located in Petaluma, was the top fundraising team and raised over $15,000.

Cynthia Ermshar, community relations manager of Adobe House was the team lead. “We had a great team and I was honored to be a part of a team to help fundraise for the Alzheimer’s Association.” “I look forward to doing this again next year.” says Ermshar.

Currently, more than 5 million American’s have Alzheimer’s and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. The future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
